Styx and his sister, who is identical to him but smaller, were originally from an oops litter. His mom was a blue heeler and dad was a flat coat retriever. We adopted both together. A few months later we were notified but animal services a ways off that both had been turned in but they had an adopter. So, we felt all was well. Then, recently. we got another call saying they were legally removed from the home due to neglect so we got them back. They are both thin but extremely smart and socialized dogs. They would make excellent family pets. They walk on a leash nicely and are energetic but have an off switch. Styx is completely vetted and ready to assume his spot in a GREAT family or owner situation. If you are interested, please apply online today at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com .

BARC introduces FOX. This little 4 month old GERMAN SHEPHERD/MALLINOIS/CAROLINA DOG came from the shepherd hoarding case in Sandy Run, SC, my hometown. These guys were barely being fed and care was close to nonexistent. But this sweet girl is recovering from that. She is small and will probably not ever be over 40 pounds. She is shy and quiet but enjoys being cuddled. She is being trained to use piddle pads and doing well. She is great with other dogs small and large. She would do best in a quiet home. She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and rescue is to spay her before going home. Her adoption includes a year supply of heart worm prevention, and flea and tick prevention. You can apply for Fox on our website at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com .

ASTRO was found at a ballpark. He had been seen there for some time so a policeman brought him to rescue as there is no animal control. This big friendly boy just wanted to play and make friends with everyone. We believe he is 6-7 months old and weighs about 45 pounds. He is needs a child to keep him busy playing. He would also make an excellent jogging or hiking buddy. He would do well with other dogs but probably too much energy for a cat. He is truly gorgeous and affectionate. He LOVES people! Astro is fully vetted and ready for an adventure. If you are interested in Astro please apply online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com.
