Rocky was and his mom and littermates were abandoned when their owner moved. The new owners found the mom and newborns under the house living in filth. It took a long time to get these babies ready for adoption due to health issues from the condition they were left in. They have received much love and care since then. He is good with children and other dogs. He is beginning to walk on a leash as well. This boy just needs a chance to be a loved pet. He would earn it. He is well socialized and loves attention. Snickers is a six month old flat coated retriever shepherd mix he’s crate trained House trained, he is up-to-date on his vaccines. We have him scheduled to be neutered on 13 March. He will need leash training obedience classes. He’s a very loving dog gets along OK with other dogs. We are cat testing him at this time. He will need an experienced owner and must have a fence yard to play in. He would fit in well with a household that had older children, and that is very active. He was returned by no fault of his own.

BARC welcomes VIGIL to rescue! This 6 month old lab/pointer has to be the sweetest and most humble puppy I've met in a very long time. He is a little afraid of larger dogs but if they are friendly he fits right in. He was abandoned in a downtown area for several days. I guess he was waiting on rescue to come. I am so glad we got him as he is quite deserving of a loving home. He would make the perfect family pet. He would do well with other pets and children. I suspect he will get to be around 50 pounds.
