Rocky was and his mom and littermates were abandoned when their owner moved. The new owners found the mom and newborns under the house living in filth. It took a long time to get these babies ready for adoption due to health issues from the condition they were left in. They have received much love and care since then. BARC welcomes VIGIL to rescue! This 6 month old lab/pointer has to be the sweetest and most humble puppy I've met in a very long time. He is a little afraid of larger dogs but if they are friendly he fits right in. He was abandoned in a downtown area for several days. I guess he was waiting on rescue to come. Honey is a precious, tiny, apple head chihuahua. She is as sweet as her name suggest. This darling came to rescue from a hoarding situation and with puppies. Boots and her mom and siblings were abandoned near a busy road and taken in by a good Sam. Mom is only 25 pounds so we didn't not expect these babies to be mu over 25 pounds. These guys are already trained to a piddle pad and working on leash manners. They live with other dogs and cats. Boots is very friendly and lovable. There are also small children in her foster home. This little girl is about 4 to 5 months old and is only ten pounds so she will be a small dog. She is adorable too. BARC introduces CRICKET to rescue. This 12 week old plot hound puppy was a beloved pet of an elderly lady. Her owner became ill and refused to receive medical help until Cricket had a safe place. We somehow made room and this lady is presently in the hospital and probably not able to return home. This is bittersweet that Cricket is safe but now needs a forever home. We did a DNA test and they are close to 50% Spaniel ( cocker and springer) and a quarter French Bulldog . They are absolutely beautiful and have cute playful personalities.
