A Voice for Homeless Pets in Brantley County, GA
We are a 501c3 Rescue EIN# 46-3288603

November is black dog month!  All BLACK DOGS OVER 6 MONTHS of age have only a $50 dollar adoption fee this month.  This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick control, and microchipped.
Hi, my name is Lois Vassilion and I am the President and Founder of BARC.  I have loved dogs all of my life and rescue is both my passion and my God given mission in this life. I see BARC, both adopters and supporters, as my family.  As such, I invite YOU to my personal facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/lois.morgan3 , to get to know me and what I do on a more personal level.  I hope and pray you do decide to adopt as THAT is what makes rescue work and what saves lives.  For a more up to date list of pets, as they change daily, you can go to BARC.petfinder.com.   May God bless you and you opt to adopt!

Mission Statement
It is our mission to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, or homeless companion animals in Brantley County and the surrounding areas, as well as placing these pets in loving permanent homes. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of animals.

Giving Animals a Second Chance

Brantley Animal Rescue Coalition operates in Brantley County, Georgia, just West of Brunswick, Ga., and in between Savannah, Ga, and Jacksonville, Fl.  As there are no vets or animal services in our county, we have our job cut out for us.  We operate an all volunteer foster program where homeless pets are kept in the volunteers home where we feed, provide shelter and medical care for the pet until a new home can be found.  Using the volunteer foster program instead of a kennel offers the best hope of individual attention, care, and re-socialization to be offered to rehabilitate a previously neglected and/or abused pet.
